"A student studying to become a physician believes doctors can play a bigger role in saving victims from human trafficking.

Victoria Addis, a student at the Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine, is helping to raise awareness about human trafficking in her leadership role in the American Medical Women’s Association, WMed said in a news release."
